Combat Arms
I have been playing Combat Arms for about a week now. In my opinion it is one of the best free first person shooters you can find. I have played a lot of fps games, commercial and free and this one is right up there with the best. Once you register and setup a username, you get to choose your players basic identity. You have the option to purchase various weapons, modifications, armor, and other gadgets to help you win. If you have ever played CounterStrike then you will be right at home in this game. The game feels and plays a lot like CS.
There are different game modes but personally I only play elimination, which consists of two teams trying to reach a set amount of kills, usually 140. I also like the one man army game mode which is basically a free for all. There is a variety of maps in the game, from large sniper friendly maps to small sub machine gun friendly maps. My personal favorite map is Junk Flea. The competition in this game is pretty varied, but for the most part, your opponents are pretty average compared to a game like Counter Strike. This is mainly due to how new this game is. I find this to be great, since I love to beat up on noobs, as I am sure you will as well.
As a new player starting out I will give you some basic tips to help you survive. First of all, buy heavy armor and a helmet to help you survive longer. As for weapons, I personally like the SCAR, AK-47 and UMP. All the guns in the game are pretty good if you get in a bit of practice. If you are using a sub machine gun on a small map like Junk Flea, avoid places where you have to shoot long distances and strafing works wonders, especially against average people with rifles. The sub machine guns are great for new players because of the low recoil and mobility.
When you get kills, at the end of each game you earn experience and cash which you can use to unlock and buy more stuff for your character. Overall this is a great game you should definitely give it a try.

Bontago
Bontago is an intense single or multiplayer 3d real-time strategy game. Players begin with flags (one color for each player) spaced evenly around the edge of a large disk, called the field, balanced on a fulcrum in the center. Around each flag is a circle representing that player's controlled area. Every few seconds a block appears on each player's cursor. The players must place the blocks somewhere in their controlled areas. Players can place the block at any moment in the allotted time, or can hold it until time is up and the block will fall on its own and be replaced by the next block.
The goal of the game is to encompass all of the world flags in the controlled area. To expand the controlled area, the player must build upwards and outwards. The radius of the controlled area (and thus the area the player may place blocks in) is determined using the height of the player's structures perpendicular to the disk. If controlled areas of opposing players meet, a hole is formed in the disk in the overlapping region. The first player to possess a continuous area containing the world flags wins.
Real-time multiplayer strategy. Up to 8 players can test their skills online.
Blocks are given randomly to players and come in a variety of semi-random shapes. The base block unit is a cube. Several types of blocks are made as a combination of base units.
Specialty blocks can be attained by extending the controlled area around gift boxes randomly dropped on the map during the game. The next block the player receives after encircling the crate will be a specialty block. These include volcano, earthquake, rocket, and other blocks. Smashing a specialty block in any obvious way will activate it.
Experiment with free-form building in the sandbox.
Bont?go uses realistic Tokamak powered physics, and the disk can tilt on its fulcrum if certain special blocks are activated. Towers will fall, blocks will slide off the game world, and specialty blocks will wreak havoc on opponents. Although the rules are simple, strategic thinking, quick reflexes, and a bit of luck is required to win this game.

Marvel Super Heroes
The Marvel Super Heroes remake by SpiDoL is a decent effort developed with the MUGEN game engine, though some text editing is required to get the sound working. Search for the Data folder and change the Sound configuration value in the mugen.cfg file from 0 to 1, in order to enable the sound effects plus some background music.
Most of the standard and special moves from the arcade version have been retained, hence veterans should be able to figure out the controls in no time. Some of the new characters are pretty fun to play with as well. Thor is especially impressive, but Carnage is rather cheap and Todd's creation has little powers. A simultaneous team mode also allows all four combatants to slug it out at the same time.

Battleships Forever is a freeware tactical Real Time Strategy game that put's you in command of a small fleet of warships in space. Combat and damage mechanics are extremely detailed. Everything is simulated in game if possible. There are no abitrary "to hit chance" values in Battleships Forever. The game also features many innovative mechanics that you've never seen before. As an elf or human returning back from the Island of Fuan, you first arrive in Ladianes Village. You must go on missions with a group to chase out the ghosts and monsters that have taken over most of Ladianes and Veros . You should also take on quests by yourself for not only destroying monsters but also performing certain chores for Ladianes. From the missions, defense against invasions and quests, you will gain experience, money and items.
In the meantime, you should join a tribe with whom you can not only take on missions and defense against invasions but also fight other tribes to conquer Islands, the Tornado Zone or the Ghost Castle. From these turfs, your tribe and allies can find valuable gems needed to upgrade your weapons or learn new skills.
When you reach level 160, you should join either Ladianes or Veros nation. As a citizen of either nation, you will have to fight for ownership of certain turfs and accomplish more missions for your nation to earn a certain title in the nation.

DoChun-Poung was victorious and in order to make sure that

he cut the Evil Blood Emperor into 4 pieces.
Many decades passed...
Sa-Do, the son of the Blood Evil Emperor, was determined
to bring back his father from the dead in order to re-establish
his reign of terror. Sa-Do journeyed throughout the land in
order to locate and collect the 4 pieces from his father?s corpse.
After the reunification of the 4 pieces was complete signs
that were foretold occurred. The black star appeared
in the sky to signal the beginning of the new reign of terror.
One of the suns turned black while the other one turned red.
Shortly thereafter, black clouds covered the sky and blotted out the daylight.
After many years...
Most of the living creatures in the land became extinct due to the destruction of the natural resources needed to sustain their lives. The few species that did survive turned into human/monster-like creatures. They called themselves the "Evil Monster". One of the monsters, Lak-Sa, unified all monsters in order to strengthen them against any possible survivors that might try to challenge his group.
Lak-Sa became the strongest being in the world. He had the strength both human and monster. Although he unified the monsters some years ago, he now realized that he has to create a group of followers that would stop them from ruling the land. Due to his superior strength and skill; Lak-Sa defeated one martial arts master after another. Finally, he made a pact with the martial arts masters that he had defeated, but not destroyed to create another group of followers and increased his power to use against the monsters.

Cease Fire 2021
Cease Fire is a fast-paced vehicular based action game with an emphasis on the capture the flag game type. It uses a top down view on a 3D world but all of the physics and collision calculations are in two dimensions. There are five different vehicles all with their own unique type of movement. The game is networked and can support at least 8 players, as well as up to eight AI controlled bots. The three game play modes are capture the flag, death match and team death match. The action is very fast paced and there are a lot of particle effects that make the game more visually appealing. Geode
Geode is a light-hearted but extremely challenging multiplayer turn-based RTS that harkens back to games such as Lemmings and Worms. The object of the game is to beat your opponent by defeating all his workers (called Dudes) and destroying all his buildings.
The game takes place inside a circular rock (a geode!) where groups of Dudes under the leadership of the players attempt to take over the geode. Dudes gather Resourcite, build your buildings, and attack your enemy. They come equipped with an array of weapons they can use (ranging from a simple single bullet slingshot to a mine) but each time a Dude fires his weapon your energy meter decreases. Once it hits 0 your turn has ended, so choose your shots wisely. Dudes can walk on the walls and ceilings or jump off and let gravity take them whereever it happens to be pointing. Speaking of gravity, one of the quirks of Geode is that every turn, gravity randomly changes. The tower you spent all of last turn building to defend a path into your area may be rendered useless when its bullets suddenly arc UP instead of down.

Mall Monster
The game places you in the role of a young boy who has managed to get himself lost and trapped in a mall after dark. As if finding your way out wasn't enough, there is also a fearsome monster lurking through the stores and waiting to strike. You must work your way through the winding aisles and hallways as stealthily as possible to avoid being seen or heard. In addition to the aid of your carefully planned movements, you will encounter many items that can be used to your advantage.
If your strategies fail to keep the monster at a safe distance, fear will begin to take over your actions. Curling up into a ball and closing your eyes to calm yourself down is always an option, but you'll no longer be able to make quick reactions to probable threats. This may seem to place you in a large disadvantage, but becoming too afraid can lead to a worse fate. Once you faint due to fear, the monster will definitely hear you thud to the ground, and you can only hope that he doesn't reach you before you wake.

Darkages
Dark Ages II: Engel is a free computer role-playing game that follows the story of those three initiates of the Thieves' Guild. The plot is non-linear in the sense that key points in the plot will require a choice. That choice will lead to different quests without turning back. The world will change according to those choices. I hope to add replayability (is that a word?) by allowing the player to start the game over after they've won and play a whole series of new quests and still win the game. How it differs from most non-linear games is that it does not change how the game ends; merely all the content in the middle. A lot of games change the storyline to fit non-linear choices, but the quests and tasks are the same. In the case of DA2, some quests will never become available. You will just have to play again to try them out.

Cubert
In the present day, or at least what science-fiction writers fifty years ago would have imagined the present day to be like, is an island floating in space somewhat near Earth. On this island live long-faced, bug-eyed, tentacled aliens called Ekrats. In addition to being filled with these locals, the aptly named Ekrat IslandTM is a popular spot for human tourists to visit. Every day, hordes of humans arrive on the island in little spaceships to enjoy many facilities including but not limited to the Horniverous DevilTM restaurant, Baked Potato's Bar and DiscoTM, and the new attraction specially built for humans themselves, the HumanCoasterTM.
Until, of course, all the humans start to disappear. And the ships transporting them to and from the island are no longer in service. This is bad for the Ekrats; humans, being wealthy tourists, help the Ekrat economy greatly.
And so, one day, there is only one human left. In an attempt to find her companions, she enlists the aid of Ekrat IslandTM's only (yet somewhat reluctant) private investigator, Cubert Badbone. In this cheesy, low-budget game, you play the part of that private investigator. Now what are you waiting for? Go find those humans!

...and while it would be nice to dwell for a moment on the nicer aspects of this, such as the major technological advances, prevailing sense of global peace and harmony, vastly improved health and social security services, or the exciting and highly collectable toys currently being given away free with every McDonalds Happy Meal, we simply don't have time because a highly compacted radioactive asteroid is about to enter Earth's atmosphere!
As the world's best pilot, you have been asked to intercept the asteroid and destroy it. Your highly maneuverable fighter (flame red metallic paint, sat-nav, leather cockpit) has been locked in a snug toroidal space-time envelope mere thousands of miles above the planet with the asteroid. The authorities will release you from the envelope to a hero's breakfast once you have completely vaporised it. I'm afraid you only have one life, so you'd better be careful (Mario was considered for the job, but while multiple life potential would undeniably be of great assistance in this situation, the zero gravity environment does not lend itself particularly well to jumping on top of things as a primary mode of attack).
Your ship is fitted with a rapid fire neutronic blaster, a powerful rock-repellent electromagnetic shield and a nifty chassis-mounted scoop with the ability to gather radioactive matter from space and convert it into power for the aforementioned blaster and shield.
Blastocyst is a game of skill and tactics. You only have one level to complete, and one life to complete it with. Blast the rock and all rock fragments while avoiding being hit. Your blaster and shield consume energy, indicated by the green bar at the bottom of the screen. When you destroy the smallest fragments, a static green radioactive particle will be left behind; fly over it to replenish your energy. If your energy runs out completely and you are hit by a rock you will die.
