F1 Spirit
F-1 Spirit is a racing game. You will race with many different types of cars, starting by Stock or Rally cars, and finishing by driving F1 cars (once you have classified for it by beating the F3, F3000 and Endurance races).
Specifically, there are 6 types of races:
Stock race
Rally
F3 race
F3000 race
Endurance race
F1 races (16 tracks)
Initially, you can only race in the stock, rally and F3 races. But, as you win races, you will accumulate points that will allow you to play in more races. Specifically, you will receive 9 points if you finish a race in 1st place, 8 if you finish in 2nd position, etc. If you finish 10th or later, you will not score any points.
Moreover, there are 16 different tracks for F1 cars. As you win races, you will be able to play more tracks in the F1 car category. To complete the game, you have to win all of the 16 F1 tracks. This makes a total of 21 tracks (stock + rally + f3 + f3000 + endurance + 16*f1). The first races are the easier races: the cars are slow, and the enemies do not drive very well. But as you classify for new tracks, the difficulty will increase: F1 cars are impressively fast! You will need a great dexterity to win in F1 tracks. The first time you race with F1 cars it seems impossible to control the car, but as you accumulate experience, the races start becoming easier, and finally you are able to win any F1 race! Then it's time to play in multiplayer mode against some friends and show them how well you can control a F1 car!!!
During a race, you can collide with other cars and with the track fences, etc. This will damage your car. In every track, there is a zone (labeled with the "PIT" letters) where you can replenish the fuel tank of your car and repair your car.

ControlsThe default keys are:
Cursor left/right: turn
Cursor up/down: shift gears
Space: accelerate
M: brake
ESC: back
F1: pause the game
F12: exits to the OS
ALT+ENTER: switch from/to fullscreen mode
In order to start a new game, press SPACE in the title screen. This will give you access to the main menu.
Of course, you can also use a joystick or a joypad. With those, you can play F-1 Spirit on your computer with a maximum of 4 players at a time.
Game tipsHere are some tips that will make you enjoy the game more:
The most important one: the brake is your best friend, especially in the F1 tracks!
Use the PIT STOPS if your car has a lot of damage. For instance, having the engine damaged, your top speed will decrease, making you lose time in every lap.
When you are in the PIT STOP, if you hold down the DOWN arrow, the fuel intake will slow down, but the car repair will speed up.
The fuel consumption is a function of the RPM at which the motor is running (as in real cars). Moreover, your car only consumes fuel when you press the acceleration pedal. Keep these two things in mind while you race to save fuel.
F1 tracks cannot be won at the fist race unless you are an ACE driver. To win an F1 race, try to memorize each curve, play each race several times to know where you can run at higher speeds and where you have to brake.
