I of the Enemy Alien races have been bitterly fighting for supremacy of their universe. An Alliance has formed between the lowly Lokob, the physically imposing Rag'ha and the technologically advanced Y'dray, in an attempt to stem the onslaught of the menacing Unath. The Unath are said to have invaded this star system in a quest to maintain supplies of a chemical which is the basis for their technology and is found in the bodies of all of the Alliance races. The player is a Lokob officer who holds the exhalted title of "Commander of Armies" and is in charge of his race's contingent. Colonel Verkkal (voice talents of Ian McNeice, famed for his role as Baron Harkonnen in Dune) is his trusted friend and Field Commander. Emphasis in this game has moved away from gathering, mining and building, and instead concentrates on interesting tactical problems.

Ore No Ryomi 2 This game offers an interesting mix of action and strategy elements that make for a unique experience. The graphics in this game are lackluster and probably won’t impress you, but the unique gameplay more the makes up for it. This game is the sequel to the original Ore No Ryomi, with many improvements and more features.

You are the owner of a restaurant who starts out with a little money. You can use your money to buy various items to add to your menu. Some of the foods you can include soft drinks, burgers, pizza and salad. Each of the different foods requires a different method of cooking. When a customer orders an item, you switch over to an action mini game where you must cook the food by performing the required sequence of keystrokes. For example if you wanted to serve up a soft drink you would scroll left or right until you picked the correct soft drink and press down until an indicator lets you know the drink is ready. Each of the foods has a varying difficulty of cooking and a varying selling price which usually correlates to the difficulty of cooking. When the restaurant is open customers will come in and you will have to take orders and serve their items as fast as you can. You will also have to sometimes wash dishes and dispose of trash which require different sequences of keystrokes. Sometimes you will be robbed and you must chase down the criminal in order to retrieve some money. After the restaurant closes for the day you can purchase menu items or upgrades for your restaurant. You can add a buffet to your restaurant to get additional money or add delivery service to your business. Overall an interesting game worth a try. 

Spice Trade Spice Trade is a business trading game similar to merchant prince. The graphics are completely 2d and consists mostly of static images with a point and click interface. The game has a unique style in its graphics which gives it a nice atmosphere. This game is a java application and in order to run this game, you need to have Java virtual machine installed on your system.

You start out as a poor lonely merchant in Baghdad who has a small plot of land and a home. Your goal is to become wealthy and gain the influence of Asian and European cities. The game has many historical references and is a good tool for learning a bit about the Muslim culture during the time period. You can buy seeds and grow them on your farm land to start out and sell the plants that grow for profit. Once you gain enough wealth and purchase the necessary documents, you can travel between cities to sell your spices for profit. You can collect various artifacts and map pieces in the game which serve some purpose which I have still to figure out. The economic system in the game is very simplified and once you learn a few tricks it becomes too easy to gain a lot of money. This might bother hardcore gamers but casual gamers would probably still have fun exploring all the aspects of the game. I enjoyed this game for the first few hours I played it, but once I became obscenely wealthy it became somewhat repetitive. This is a great game to play for a little while and live out your dreams of becoming rich and powerful in the 14th century Asian/European world. 

Nexuiz Nexuiz is a first person shooter in the tradition of quake. You can create a server or join a server already in action. When I checked online, there are several active servers playing this game, so you shouldn’t have a problem finding a game. A lot of work went into making this game a fun and balanced. If you have ever played quake then you have a good idea of what the gameplay in this game is like. The weapons, movement and action are inspired by quake and the game runs on an advanced Quake 1 engine. Once you are in the game, action is very fast paced and hectic like you would expect. Movement is fast and you must jump around and aim well to get as many kills as possible. The weapons come in a wide variety and are well balanced. The game comes with many different maps, not something you would expect from a freeware game. Although its no Half Life 2, the graphics quality is extremely good for a freeware game, considering its running on a modified Quake 1 engine. The textures are good high quality and the player and weapon models are fair. This game should run smoothly on most graphics cards. Overall, I think the game is definitely worth a look, especially if you like fast paced first person shooters. Don’t miss out on the mayhem. 

Neo Sonic Neo Island is once again in peace.....and still is....yup...peace.....sigh..screw this..::Fast forward:: Life has been pretty calm. Well, aside from the green sudden explosions called 'Chaotic Happenings'. Who or what is causing these....and how is it affecting the newly resurrected Badniks? What's more, this has just been recently happening on Neo Island, where Manic was training Taiora, a young pink fox, on becoming a Neo Guardian. One of those Happening occurred on the horizon during training. Luckily....a familiar hero was already on the scene... Raiden Island. Who gives a rat's ass about it? It's just a beautiful (but dangerous) island in the sky, often called 'Neo's Sister'. With its sole guardian, Shadow, who has not had any sort of social interaction for 3 years due to the fact he was training, he is still believed to be dead. He had a strange feeling during training as he sensed a Chaotic energy within the distance, towards Neo-Island. Shadow decided to head over, as he has trained himself to manipulate Chaotic energy....WITHOUT a Chaos Emerald. ...and we didn't start about the Neo-Gems.... *Totally New Engine! Though it looks like NS3 (And you loved it) this is WAAAY different. Netstorm Netstorm is a strategy game that I remember playing when it first came out. It focuses on building bridges and obelisks to defeat your enemy. The gameplay is one of a kind. You have to play it for yourself to see what I mean.

Head over Heels Hello and welcome to the comfy, cosy, rose-tinted, warm, fuzzy and nostalgic home of Retrospec's latest (at the time of writing) remake: Head Over Heels. Now, most of you are probably familiar with the game as it's regarded by most people as one of the single finest games ever to appear on the Spectrum. It combined everything that was lovely about Jon Ritman and Bernie Drummond's last game (Batman) with a much bigger map and an incredibly innovative two-protagonist approach which allows for many more puzzles.

Magebane Magebane 2 is a 3D single player roleplaying game where you command three monks on a quest to recover the holy Amulet of Yendor. Also, you can find various items to enhance your abilities. You control your characters from zoomable bird's eye view, and you can give orders while the game is paused, or slow down the game to your liking.

Most of the time the game will be played in a 2-D perspective. This is where you walk around and explore the land, talk to people, visit shops, explore dungeons, search for treasures and so on. At first Iysayana is on her own, but during the adventure other heroes will join your party. But note that your magic energy is limited and must be refilled from time to time. Talk to the people in the towns to gather more or less useful information. The game can be played using the keyboard or a joystick and comes with a detailed help file. You can save and load at any point. Go out and become the heroine the kingdom needs! The level will start with a description pertaining anything to do with the level and the goal. The player can choose which Ta-Ta to control by pressing the ‘select previous’ or ‘select next’ button. Each Ta-Ta has its own unique ability that the player must use in order to pass through the obstacles found throughout the level.

He enjoys the thrill of a 10,000 foot drop into a sewer barely big enough for his body. Your score is based on the average score of 3 dives. If you miss the sewer you don`t get any points for that attempt and your diver ends up with a headache. Remember 

X-men vs Street Fighter This is an online multiplayer version of x-men vs street fighter. Up to 4 players can play in this game. Very fun.

Shadowflare Epsiode 1 ShadowFlare is a mission-based PC action/role-playing game that consists of 4 episodes. You start your journey as a hired mercenary working for gold, precious items, and fighting experience in a demon-ruled land. As you adventure through the vast ruins of what's left of the world, you'll deduce what happened and who's responsible for the devastation.
