Heroes Of Newerth
Heroes of Newerth is a team based strategy RPG game on the lines of Defense of The Ancients. I have been playing this game consistantly for over a year, with thousands of matches recorded, it recently went free to play.This is my personally most played game and I can vouch for the quality. The development team releases a new hero almost every other week, with tons of heroes to choose from, every match is different. The main challenge with this game when you start out is the learning curve, once you get over that initial losing streak, you are in for an awesome addictive experience. There is a lot of depth to team selection and coordination strategy not seen in other online RPG games. This is my favorite game so I highly suggest you try it out. Savage 2
Savage 2 is a unique game that blends aspects of FPS games and RTS games. There are two unique roles in the game: Action Players and Commanders. The action players control individual units on the ground fighting for the Legion of Men or the Hordes of Beasts. The commander coordinates his team, acquires resources, and ensures the teams structures are up and running. There are different classes of heroes which fulfill specific roles such as healing or tanking. Overall the unique mix of FPS and RTS comes out nicely, for a free game this is a nice one to pick up.

Pox Nora (Browser Game)
Pox Nora is a blend between a card game and a tactics game. You face your opponent on a tiled map where you take turns trying to destroy each others base. Cars are used to activate spells, artifacts and units on the battlefield. There is somewhat of a learning curve to figure out which type of decks and tactics are strongest for a particular map.

League of Legends
League of Legends is an action RPG similar to Defense of the Ancients on World of Warcraft II. Your team defends its base while it tries to destroy the opponents. You kill enemy npc creeps for experience and gold which you can use to purchase items for your hero. Compared to other games of this genre, it is very noob friendly. There is no denying of allied creeps, a feature found in most other games of this type.

Battle For Wesnoth
Battle for Wesnoth is a turn based tactical game with a huge variety of campaigns and unit types. Once you figure out the basics of this game, you will start to notice the depth of the strategy in this game. In the campaigns, for the most part, if you keep your units alive, you have them for your next mission with the experience they gained from all their previous missions. The tactics in the game can get very interesting, with things such as zones of control around your units as well as choosing how to upgrade your units. This is one of my top picks and a definate must have game.
